ADC Kentrox Announces Broadband Product Line Price Reductions; making technology even more practical -- and affordable.

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1995--In response to steady customer demand and the resulting lower operating costs, ADC Kentrox announced list price reductions on their broadband product line.

Effective April 1, 1995, the company will reduce the list price of its T1/E1 and T3/E3 SMDS and ATM product offerings by up to 15 percent. The market success of the ADC Kentrox broadband network access product portfolio and the corresponding production ramp to match demand allows the company to share the cost saving with its customers.

Pricing for an entry level T1/EI ATM Access Concentrator (AAC-1) will be reduced to $6,495 and now includes CBR support as a standard feature. The DataSMART(R) T1 SMDSU(TM) (SMDS DSU/CSU) has been adjusted to $4,250 and the DataSMART T3/E3 SMDSU to $12,995. The DataSMART T3 ADSU will list at $13,995.
