ADC Introduces the Soneplex Radiator High Density Repeater Apparatus Case.

Thermally-enhanced, high density apparatus case provides

four times the density of standard repeater apparatus cases

ADC Telecommunications, Inc., today announced that it has released its new Soneplex(R) Radiator(TM) high density repeater apparatus case. The Soneplex Radiator apparatus case supports up to eight high bit-rate digital subscriber line (HDSL), integrated services digital network (ISDN) or digital data system (DDS) repeaters -- four times the density of standard repeater cases -- with improved thermodynamic performance.

The Soneplex Radiator high density repeater apparatus case has been approved by U S WEST for use in its network as an addition to its case products. "The Soneplex Radiator apparatus case allows U S WEST to optimize the limited space within a manhole, supplying greater density and less congestion," said Bruce Simner, supplier management for technology selection at U S WEST Communications. "The reduced size of the case serves as a means to deliver more facilities to U S WEST customers and defer additional costs."
