This donation follows the ADC Foundation's initial $10,000 contribution to the Red Cross that was made after the initial quake struck the region on May 12.

In addition to the direct gifts to the Red Cross, the ADC Foundation has also established a company-wide employee matching gift effort for donations that benefit disaster relief nonprofits aiding in the earthquake response. The ADC Foundation is matching more than $25,000 in employee donations in China and from around the world, with those matched funds being directed to various organizations, including the Red Cross. Furthermore, ADC employees in China recently coordinated a food and clothing drive among the several ADC sites in China, and have offered engineering assistance for the Sichuan region's damaged communications networks.
