Management Profile Karl Rookstool, Director Strategic Technology ADC Telecommunications Karl Rookstool joined ADC in September 1997 as vice president of marketing for the company's ATM Transport Division. Products in this division included the Cellworx STN ATM VP ring next generation transport element and ATM access concentrators. In March of 2000, Mr. Rookstool was named general manager of the ATM Access Products Division. In July of 2001, he began his current role in ADC's Office of Technology where he directs the product strategy for the company's Wireline Systems Business Unit. Mr. Rookstool served Bell of Pennsylvanie/Bell Atlantic for 24 years where he held positions in construction, outside facilities engineering, network and technology planning, network investment utilization, customer service, and product management.
