ADC Announces OEM Agreement with Symmetry Communications for NewNet Connect7 Technology.

Advanced Wireless Functionality

 (Nasdaq: ADCT ADCT Adaptive Discrete Cosine Transform ; www.adc.com) announced today that it has signed an agreement with Symmetry Communications Systems of San Jose, Calif. to provide its NewNet Connect7 (TM) Signaling System No.7 (SS7) solution to Symmetry on an OEM basis. Using NewNet Connect7, Symmetry, which develops wireless data-communications infrastructure systems, will be able to provide a fully integrated Interworking (standard) interworking - Systems or components, possibly from different origins, working together to perform some task. Interworking depends crucially on standards to define the interfaces between the components.  Function Platform that enables enhanced data applications such as General Packet Radio Service (GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) The first high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers that used the GSM technology.
