ADC Announces LoopStar 1600 Next-Generation SONET Multi-Service Transmission System.

LoopStar access systems allow service providers to cost-effectively transport, and manage TDM and Ethernet services to end-user customers from a single platform. The LoopStar 1600 will be featured in ADC's booth No. 23018 at SUPERCOMM 2005, June 7-9 in Chicago.

The highly scalable LoopStar 1600 system enables service providers to deploy tailor-made, reliable SONET-based solutions for DS1, DS3, OC3, OC12 and Ethernet service delivery, as well as transport from 0C3 to OC192. The platform provides an integrated universal back-plane architecture that supports multiple interchangeable network and tributary interface cards that help reduce costs and ease the transition into new business services.
