ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com) announced today Omnitel will install ADC's Metrica(TM) software to help manage the performance of its wireless telecommunications network in Lithuania. Omnitel owns and operates Lithuania's largest GSM network, providing service to approximately 60 percent of the nation's mobile communications market. The company is also the largest of its kind in the Baltics.

Since the start of its mobile operations in 1996, Omnitel has experienced exponential growth, which created the demand for an end-to-end performance management solution that will easily scale as the network continues to expand. ADC is the worldwide market leader in service quality management using its Metrica suite.

Omnitel will use Metrica for network performance reporting and monitoring, all accessible to its network managers through an Internet browser. It will provide Omnitel with quick, easy-to-access network information to help maintain service quality.
