Vulchur[TM] Tackles Odor and Corrosion Concerns While Saving Systems Money

SANFORD, Fla. -- Officials of ADAPCO Environmental Solutions (AES) announce the introduction of Vulchur[TM], a new product for the wastewater industry. Unveiling this week at the Water Federation's annual Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) in Dallas, TX (Booth # 6563), Vulchur is the only product on the market with the ability to control both odor-causing bacteria and corrosion in wastewater systems.

According to AES General Manager Jerry Davis, Vulchur removes hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and mercaptans from wastewater systems - two elements that cause serious odor, safety and equipment maintenance issues. "Vulchur eliminates odor, but it also reacts to form a corrosion inhibitor for concrete and metal infrastructure and equipment," explained Davis. "This can help minimize costly repairs and maximize equipment life, which can ultimately save wastewater systems a great deal of time, labor and money."

Vulchur differs from other wastewater treatments because it does not increase a system's pH level, it does not create system solids or build-up and it uses 25% less chemical than other products.
