The Bruins failed to reach the NCAA NCAA abbr. National Collegiate Athletic Association regional playoffs for a third consecutive season this spring, fueling speculation the 63-year-old Adams would not return despite strong support from current and former players. Adams will get one more season, however, and then will remain with the school in an administrative position and help his successor take control of the program. ``I am looking forward to one great final season,'' Adams said in a statement released by the school late Wednesday afternoon. ``It's been a great 30 years, but it's time It's Time was a successful political campaign run by the Australian Labor Party (ALP) under Gough Whitlam at the 1972 election in Australia. We are happy that Gary will assist with the transition to a new era in the areas of fund-raising and alumni networking.'' The Bruins went 28-31 this season and tied for fifth in the Pac-10 Conference, but Adams takes a career record of 950-793-7 into the 2004 season.
