ADAMS' ADVICE TO WINEHOUSE

Rocker BRYAN ADAMS is pleased he was able to offer support to AMY WINEHOUSE, insisting the troubled singer needs to be surrounded by "good people".

The Back To Black hitmaker jetted off to Adams' beachside home on the West Indian island of Mustique for a relaxing New Year (08) break.

Just weeks after her return, the star checked into a London rehab centre in a bid to tackle her drug problems.

And Adams is happy to help Winehouse in any way he can.

He says, "She came and stayed with me. There's always been a musician coming off the rails, that's just how it works. I think a lot of it has to do with who you surround yourself with. If you have good people around you it will help, obviously."
