ADAC Laboratories Names New Chief Financial Officer; Brings 25-Years of Strong Financial Experience To ADAC.

ADAC Laboratories (NASDAQ:ADAC) today announced the appointment of Neil J. Laird as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Mr. Laird joins ADAC from Coherent Medical Group where he served as vice president and chief operating officer. He joined Coherent Medical Group in 1998 as vice president of finance and was named to his present position in February 1999. From 1980 to 1997, he served in various domestic and international finance positions with Measurex Corporation including: vice president and corporate controller; vice president of finance, worldwide sales and service; vice president of finance, Americas and Pacific; controller-operations and manager of corporate reporting. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1980, Mr. Laird was employed by Reed International, Ltd. and from 1974 to 1978 he was with Price Waterhouse in London.

Mr. Laird received his BA and MA degrees in Economics from Cambridge University, United Kingdom. He is a UK Chartered Accountant.
