The Company reported that earnings per share increased 26 percent from 31 cents in the fourth quarter of fiscal 1997 to 39 cents in the fourth quarter of fiscal 1998, excluding the effect of the previously announced one-time charge described below. The Company generated record revenues of $86.9 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 1998, a 20% increase over the $72.5 million reported for the same period in fiscal 1997. This increase was attributed to a 22 percent increase in product revenue and a 14 percent increase in service revenue.
