) today lauded Governor Schwarzenegger's State of the State call for investment in water supply infrastructure.

"We applaud the governor's leadership and urge prompt action on state investment in our water future," said ACWA Executive Director Steve Hall. The governor has stated his commitment to fixing the Delta, a problem that has plagued California for decades. ACWA strongly supports the governor's Delta vision process and urges quick action before a catastrophic flood, earthquake or ecosystem collapse.
