ACURA ANNOUNCES 1994 LINE-UP/PRICES

 TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Acura Automobile Division today announced details regarding its 1994 model line-up and pricing. Acura continues to maintain its position as the best-selling luxury import nameplate in the country by offering a wide range of models from the sporty Integra to the exotic NSX sports car.
 A new addition to the 1994 Acura Legend Series is the top-of-the- line Legend Sedan GS. In addition to a host of luxury features, the Sedan GS is equipped with a 230 horsepower engine, traction control, sport suspension, 16-inch wheels and tires and is the only luxury sedan available in the United States with a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. All 1994 Legend models feature a new power tilt and telescopic steering column, additional sound insulation and styling refinements. Prices for the 1994 Legend Sedan range from $33,800 for the Sedan L with manual transmission to $40,700 for the new Sedan GS which represents a modest 5.0 percent increase compared to 1993 levels.
 The 1994 Acura Vigor features several refinements including the addition of a passenger side airbag on the LS model, a standard CD player on the Vigor GS model and new fine finished wood trim in both models. Vigor prices for 1994 range from $26,350 for the LS model with manual transmission to $29,100 for the top-of-the-line Vigor GS Sedan with automatic transmission. 1994 Vigor prices represent a 4.2 percent increase compared to 1993 models.
 Acura Division has also just introduced an all new, totally re- designed Integra Sports Sedan. Available for the first time in a performance oriented GS-R model, the sedan features 170 horsepower, anti-lock brakes (ABS), sport suspension, alloy wheels, air conditioning and more. Also available in RS and LS models, the Integra Sports Sedan RS with manual transmission sells for $15,580 while the new GS-R Sedan sells for $19,980. The completely redesigned new 1994 Integra Sedan prices have increased by 9.8 percent compared to 1993 model prices and reflect numerous additional standard features and safety benefits such as dual airbags and increased side impact protection.
 New prices for the 1994 Integra Sports Coupe will go into effect on Oct. 5 which represent a 1.3 percent increase over the prices announced in July during initial introduction. Prices for the Integra Coupe will range from $14,820 for the RS model with manual to $19,650 for the sporty GS-R.
 All Acura automobiles are protected by a 4 year/50,000 mile bumper- to-bumper limited warranty and are available through a network of nearly 300 Acura dealers nationwide.
