ACTORS ALLEY LEADS ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS PACK.

The North Hollywood-based stage company Actors Alley left Monday night's Valley Theatre League awards with eight prizes, while the Actors Workout Studio in North Hollywood and the Woodland Hills Community Theatre carried home five apiece.

The third annual Artistic Director Achievement Awards - or ADAs - were held at the Alex Theatre The Alex Theatre is a historic landmark located at 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, California of the United States of America. The Woodland Hills Community Theatre received all five of its awards for its musical revival of ``Gigi,'' and that show ended the evening with more prizes than any other single production. The other top-winning production group, the Actors Workout Studio, received three awards for its revival of the comedy ``Prelude to a Kiss'' and two for its children's production of ``Home.''

Other companies earning multiple awards included the Road in North Hollywood (three for ``HomeFires,'' one for ``Dream House''), Alliance Repertory Theatre in Burbank (three for ``The Adjustment,'' one for ``The Boys Next Door''), American Renegade (two for ``Neutrality'' and one each for ``And the Derelicts Cheered'' and the children's play ``Fun and Discovery With Bubbles'') and the Storybook sto·ry·book
