Highway Patrol Officers Paul Dokus and Ken Wheeler spotted Gregory's 1996 Nissan Pathfinder just after 4 a.m. near Pyramid Lake, a few miles south of Highway 138.

The officers said when they initially picked up Gregory on radar, his speed had reached 101 mph. Gregory, 27, of Burbank told the officers he was on his way home but did not know where he had been.

``He told us he didn't know where he was coming from, but he was cooperative, he submitted to a field breath test and did not resist any requests by the officers,'' said Officer Doug Sweeney, a CHP CHP Chapter

Tests indicated Gregory's blood alcohol was more than twice the limit at which a person is considered drunk under the law, Sweeney said. The arrest was Gregory's second drunk-driving arrest, Sweeney said. The actor was cited earlier this year in Kentucky on suspicion of drunk driving, he said.

A preliminary hearing will be held Monday at Newhall Municipal Court.
