ACTIVISTS, WORKERS SCUFFLE AT PET CENTER.

One of the six activists said they had a court order to ensure the more than 250 cats being held at Angel Puss and Pooch Rescue had proper food, water, sanitary conditions Noun 1. sanitary condition - the state of sanitation (clean or dirty)

However, a volunteer at the center said there was no such agreement and turned them away.

A scuffle then ensued, both sides said.

Police said they were called to the scene, but no arrests were made.

``We will now proceed with whatever legal procedure we need to,'' said activist Summer Nicholson, among the eight activists who sued the Topanga Canyon Boulevard rescue center last year. ``We saw many, many, many sick cats in there.''

However, volunteer Marge Weems said they had no right to be there.

``They have no agreement,'' she said. ``They interrupted in·ter·rupt
