ACTE Policymaker of the Year award call for nominations.The ACTE ACTE Association for Career and Technical Education (formerly American Vocational Association)ACTE Association of Corporate Travel Executives ACTE Approvals Committee for Terminal Equipment ACTE Anodal Closure Tetanus Policymaker of the Year award is presented annually by the ACTE Board of Directors to nationally recognized policy makers who have made a significant contribution to career and technical education. The award is presented to the individual or individuals who are determined to have made the most significant impact on policy related to career and technical education either during the past year or over an extended career of public service. Nominations may come from the Board of Directors, the ACTE Public Policy Department or from ACTE members; each nominee nominee n. 1) a person or entity who is requested or named to act for another, such as an agent or trustee. 2) a potential successor to another's rights under a contract. from the membership must be endorsed or sponsored by an association, agency, group, several individuals or a combination of these. Groups nominating an individual for this award should submit a cover letter stating the nominee's qualifications for the award and include supporting information listing significant legislative and other appropriate accomplishments related to career and technical education.
