Kocen joined ACT Networks in 1994 and brings years of experience in frame relay standards development. Within ACT Networks' marketing group, Kocen is responsible for the company's Public Networks line of business and is instrumental in the company's development of frame relay and point-to-point products.

Kocen had previously chaired the Interoperability group that focused on frame relay test development. Open to vendors and users, the Frame Relay Forum is dedicated to promoting the acceptance, implementation and interoperability of Frame Relay based on national and international standards.

The Forum was incorporated in May 1991 as a non-profit mutual corporation, and has over 300 members worldwide. The Forum's main offices are located in Foster City, Calif., and may be reached at 415/578-6980.
