ACT's Next-Generation NetPerformer Products Receive Certification for Use in Sprint Network; Multi-Service Access Product Line Approved for Connection to IXC's Network.

ACT Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANET) - a leading provider of multi-service access products - today announced that its next-generation NetPerformer(TM) Multi-Service Access products have been approved by Sprint's Frame Relay A high-speed packet switching protocol used in wide area networks (WANs). Providing a granular service of up to DS3 speed (45 Mbps), it has become popular for LAN to LAN connections across remote distances, and services are offered by most major carriers.  Certification Lab for connection to the Sprint Frame Relay Network Service. These models include the NetPerformer 9360 and 9380 stand-alone units that were introduced this January.

NetPerformer products are customer premise equipment (CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) Communications equipment that resides on the customer's premises.
