Interact Commerce Corp., the makers of ACT!(R), the best-selling contact manager, and SalesLogix(R), the leader in small business and mid-market CRM, today announced the availability of ACT! 2000 version 5.0.4, which is compatible with both Microsoft Windows XP and Office XP.

This update is currently only available for English and International English versions of ACT! 2000.

Windows XP introduces new forms of security and file access protection. With ACT! 2000 version 5.0.4, users can access Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002, Outlook Express 5 and Outlook Express 6 e-mail from within ACT!. In addition, ACT! synchronizes its calendar with Outlook to allow ACT! users to share their calendar information with non-ACT! users.

ACT! fully integrates with Microsoft Word providing ACT! users a way to produce professional correspondence such as letters, proposals and documents quickly and easily using Word directly from within ACT!. A simple selection switches users from the internal ACT! word processor to Microsoft Word for all ACT! functions.
