ACS Named One of 200 Best Small Companies in U.S. According to ``Forbes''; High Tech Company Makes Forbes' Best List for the Second Year in a Row.

) announced today that it was again chosen by "Forbes" Magazine as one of the "200 Best Small Businesses" in the nation.

ACS ranked number 83 in the listing that appeared in "Forbes" November 1 issue.

Compiled annually by Forbes staff, this prestigious list uses rigorous financial standards in its selection process. A team of statisticians Statisticians or people who made notable contributions to the theories of statistics, or related aspects of probability, or machine learning: A to E

  • Abraham Manie Adelstein (1916–1992)
 takes several months to review more than 5000 companies that have been public for at least two years, with annual revenue of between $5 million and $350 million. They are then ranked by growth in earnings per share, sales growth, and return on equity. Reviewers check one-year and five-year records.

 "Forbes" writers, to qualify for the list, companies must show clear evidence of profits with a five-year annual growth in earnings of ten percent or better, and even then they may not make the top 200. The top 200 chosen are a "battle-hardened bunch of competitors" according to the publication. ACS first appeared on the listing last year, the first year in which it was eligible.
