SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 1, 1996--ACS Innovations Inc., which recently introduced the COMPRO Digital Color "Internet Camera," Monday announced that it has named Barry J. Lebu, formerly CEO and founder of 50/50 Micro Electronics, as its new VP, sales and marketing.

Michael Ho, previously with Citibank and Peat Marwick, has been tapped as chief financial officer.

Lebu, 48, is a seasoned leader with a history for building marketing-oriented companies. At 50/50, Lebu built an impressive track record as an executive and entrepreneur. Lebu grew sales to $50 million in less than three years, by placing memory and multimedia video card products in more than 5,000 retail outlets throughout the United States and Europe.

Prior to that, Lebu served as vice president of sales for CAL-ABCO, a sister company for Packard Bell, turning CAL-ABCO into one of the fastest-growing distributors of electronic components and computers in the world. He holds an M.B.A. from C.W. Post College in New York and a bachelor of science degree in industrial management.
