TREVOSE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 6, 1994--ACS ENTERPRISES, INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

Antonym: dec.
. (Nasdaq NM: ACSE ACSE - Association Control Service Element ) today announced that its systemwide subscriber base for the month ended November 30, 1994, rose to 64,122 subscribers from 60,594, a net gain of 3,528 subscribers.

Alan Sonnenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACS (Asynchronous Communications Server) See network access server.  Enterprises, said, "In November we had another strong month of subscriber growth, gaining 3,528 net new subscribers systemwide. Our gain is even more significant considering the Thanksgiving holiday, five days of high winds and rain and the switch from daylight-savings time, which cost us an hour of installation time per work day. October and November's combined subscriber growth added over 7,000 net new subscribers to our system, increasing our subscriber base by over 12%. Significant increases in our ability to complete single family home installations accounted for much of our healthy subscriber gains. Systemwide, we averaged 170 completed installations per available workday in September, 200 in October, and 250 in November, while churn remained at approximately 3%.

"We are pleased with our growth and will continue to take initiatives aimed at achieving further gains," concluded Sonnenberg. ACS ENTERPRISES, INC. is a wireless cable television system operator currently serving Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH and Bakersfield, CA. Combined, these areas have an estimated 2,400,000 line-of-sight households. As previously reported, the Company has an agreement to develop a wireless cable system in the Stockton/Modesto area of California, which would add an estimated 300,000 line-of-sight households. The capital cost per wireless subscriber is substantially less than for a traditional franchise cable subscriber. As a result of its lower capital costs and comparable operating costs per subscriber, ACS charges 20% to 30% less for its wireless cable service than its traditional franchise cable competitors. Like traditional operators, ACS offers their customers local programming as well as high profile cable channels such as HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)
