ACS ENTERPRISES ANNOUNCES DECEMBER SUBSCRIBER GROWTH.

TREVOSE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 1995--ACS ENTERPRISES, INC. (NASDAQ NM Symbol: ACSE) today announced that its systemwide subscriber base for the month ended December 31, 1994, rose to 66,900 subscribers from 64,000, a net gain of 2,900 subscribers.

Alan Sonnenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACS Enterprises, Inc. said, "December was another strong month of subscriber growth, showing a gain of 2,900 net new subscribers systemwide. We were able to capitalize on the good weather, despite the holiday slowdown, while realizing further efficiencies in our single family home installations. Total net new subscribers added for the fourth quarter was 9,800, increasing our subscriber base by 17% over the third quarter, while churn was below 3%."

ACS ENTERPRISES, INC. is a wireless cable television system operator currently serving Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH and Bakersfield, CA. Combined, these areas have an estimated 2,400,000 line-of-sight households. As a result of its lower capital costs and comparable operating costs per subscriber, ACS charges 20% to 30% less for its wireless cable service than its traditional franchise cable competitors. Like traditional operators, ACS offers their customers local programming as well as high profile cable channels such as HBO, ESPN, MTV, Disney, CNN and pay-per-view.
