ACS Appoints Dave Amoriell to Lead ACS Transportation Solutions Group.


DALLAS -- Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (NYSE: ACS) today announced the appointment of Dave Amoriell as the company's new executive vice president and group president of the Transportation Solutions Group. In his new capacity, Amoriell will direct the Transportation Solutions Group's day-to-day operations.

Amoriell joins ACS after a successful 25-year career with IBM and Lockheed Martin as a senior executive, general manager and business development executive, focusing on business consulting, systems integration, business operations and information technology outsourcing programs in the Federal sector.

Immediately prior to joining ACS, Amoriell was a General Manager for IBM where he helped grow the company's Federal sector portfolio, which included critical Homeland Security elements in the State and Local marketplace. In two years, his line of business grew from $630 million to more than $1.1 billion in revenue. Key programs under his guidance included business transformation programs for the department of Homeland Security to systems integration programs within the Department of Defense, to complex IT outsourcing engagements at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, to business consulting and software integration at the Internal Revenue Service.
