Atlantic Client Server, Inc., today announced Office Appliances(TM), the first complete, scalable, Linux-based, small office server. 4 inches high with the power of a Celeron processor, Office Appliances offer file & printer sharing, and automated tape backup Using magnetic tape for storing duplicate copies of hard disk files. Users can add an internal or external tape drive to their desktop computers for backup purposes, and files are typically copied to the tapes using a backup utility that updates on a periodic schedule.  with an Easy Use web-based interface. Windows and Unix quickly and seamlessly connect to Office Appliances over a network. Office Appliances is a new breed of modular servers that can grow quickly, adding capacity and capabilities as a business grows.
