ACRODYNE HOLDINGS, INC. ANNOUNCES YEAR END RESULTS.

Blue Bell, Pennsylvania--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 4, 1995-- Acrodyne Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACROU, ACRO, ACROW) today reported its unaudited pro forma results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 1994.

Revenues for fiscal year 1994 were $5,855,899 compared to $7,262,976 for fiscal 1993. The decrease in revenues for the fiscal year reflected the prior management's attention being focused on the Acrodyne acquisition which impacted the sales effort in the latter half of fiscal 1994.

The net loss for the fiscal year was $685,915, or $(0.32) per share, as compared to net income of $30,789, or $0.01 per share, for fiscal 1993. The loss primarily resulted from lower sales volume levels and lower gross margins due to the acquisition effort, coupled with higher SG&A expenses attributable to the larger number of sales to customers located outside the U.S., advertising expenditures and other general increases in administrative costs.

Additionally, our products are poised to respond to the proposed High Definition Television (HDTV) standards.
