Vanguard I (1958), the second U.S. satellite placed in orbit around Earth (after Explorer 1), was a tiny 3.25-lb (1.47-kg) sphere with two radio transmitters. members recently shared their thoughts and opinions about the future of the College, with many agreeing that ACPE ACPE Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ACPE American Council on Pharmaceutical Education ACPE American College of Physician Executives ACPE Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. should concentrate on a few specific initiatives: 1. Help physician executives improve their effectiveness and influence within their own organizations 2. Broaden the scope of membership to include physicians working in industry, pharma Pharma may be an abbreviation for:

Assist physician leaders with finding ways to influence health care policy Vanguard members--physician executives with advanced management degrees, and those who earned certification--also asked for more networking events at ACPE meetings, more opportunities to hear from speakers outside of health care, and more contact with recruiters. ACPE staff is working on ways to carry out these suggestions and welcome input from all our members. |
