ACORD.ACORD ACORD Association for Cooperative Operations, Research and Development ACORD Agency for Cooperation and Research in Development ACORD Association de CoopĂ©ration et de Recherche pour le DĂ©veloppement (French) launched its first mini-site focused on a specific geographic area. The site is for China and Mandarin Mandarin (măn`dərĭn) [Port. mandar=to govern, or from Malay mantri=counselor of state], a high official of imperial China. For each of the nine grades there was a different colored button worn on the dress cap. Chinese Chinese, subfamily of the Sino-Tibetan family of languages (see Sino-Tibetan languages), which is also sometimes grouped with the Tai, or Thai, languages in a Sinitic subfamily of the Sino-Tibetan language stock. (www.acord.org/china). It provides basic information on ACORD standards and the benefits of standards development and implementation. This is the first of what's expected to be several new geographic-specific mini-sites. ACORD currently maintains many Global Market pages on the main ACORD Web site, and launched pages in Japanese Japanese (jăp'ənēz`), language of uncertain origin that is spoken by more than 125 million people, most of whom live in Japan. There are also many speakers of Japanese in the Ryukyu Islands, Korea, Taiwan, parts of the United States, and following a conference there a few years ago. Mini-sites are an evolution of those concepts. |
