ACOM Solutions, Inc. - Linoma Software Business Partnership Reaches Out to iSeries Market With Tools, Applications.

DULUTH, Ga. & ASHLAND, Neb. -- Linoma Software, based in Ashland, and the iSeries division of ACOM (language) ACOM - An early system on the IBM 705.

[Listed in CACM 2(5):16 (May 1959)].
Solutions, Inc., Duluth, have formed a business partnership to support iSeries computer users' requirements for streamlined and easy-to-use tools and applications for back office processes, it was announced today by Linoma President Robert Luebbe and ACOM iSeries Partner Development Manager Michael Eichner.

ACOM is known throughout the iSeries community for its EZeDocs document output management and its EZPayManager payment management solutions, both of which eliminate the need for preprinted paper forms and introduce multiple options for paperless electronic delivery of documents and payments. Linoma Software provides a suite of software tools that expedite software development and modernization, facilitate iSeries interaction with the other computing platforms, including the worldwide web, and which maximize applicability of data within other environments. Both companies market their products domestically and internationally.

"The iSeries universe is a mature community that satisfies a host of demanding computing requirements, but in many cases there is a need to take advantage of technology advances that are not inherent to the platform or to the generalized software solutions that are available for it," Luebbe said. "Both Linoma and ACOM solutions address this need, in our case with solutions that build greater flexibility and power into the use of data, and in ACOM's, with solutions that optimize the formatting, production and delivery of data in printed or electronic form. Through this partnership, we will refer our respective customers to solutions and tools that modernize their operations and enhance the power and versatility of their iSeries platforms."
