ADC (Nasdaq:ADCT; www.adc.com), a leading global supplier of fiber optics, network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, today announced that ACOM Comunicacoes, Brazil's first digital broadband fixed wireless operator, has purchased ADC's MMDS solution for a multi-city deployment of wireless services. ADC's technical team will deliver and install broadband MMDS transmission systems with SCADA real time network management and control systems in up to 10 Brazilian clusters (service areas covering a 15-20 mile radius), including Santos, Natal, Joao Pessoa and Maceio.

ACOM is a broadband fixed wireless operator providing digital pay-TV, high-speed Internet access and voice services in 53 cities in Brazil. ADC's solution help enable ACOM to provide fully digital video services over the MMDS frequencies.
