ACOM Computer Inc., which was founded in 1983 as a computer equipment leasing company and which evolved as an industry leader in MICR laser payment processing technology, has changed its name to ACOM Solutions Inc. to reflect the diversified product line and expanded corporate mission stemming from the 1999 acquisitions of three companies in key related fields, it was announced today by Patrick McMahon, president.

ACOM now markets not only its QuickCheck(TM) integrated payment solutions, but also the EZPrint/400 electronic document printing solution for the IBM AS/400 user community; the Paragon(TM) and Paragon-Net(TM) e-commerce solutions, now in use by an international customer base; and the MICRPro(R) suite of products that banks and credit unions use to generate MICR laser financial documents. The units have been integrated with the ACOM corporate structure and operate as related profit centers.
