ACOGITO Announces ROAMING MACHINE(TM) That Can Roam Your Home TV Anywhere You Are.

LAS VEGAS -- Acogito, a personal media entertainment carrier company, today announced the new product family, named ROAMING MACHINE(TM), with which consumers can roam their home TV anywhere they are. ROAMING MACHINE(TM) is a digital HD set-top box (STB), a digital video recorder (DVR), or even a digital TV (DTV) with a built-in, place-shifting (MPEG4/H.264 encoding) capability. It utilizes the Company's patented Remote Control eXtensible Mark-up Language (RCXML) technology for a set of command protocols for remote viewing.

ROAMING MACHINE(TM) is available in three different hardware platforms depending on the broadcasting reception methods such as ATSC (8VSB/QAM)/NTSC (for US), DVB-S/DVB-T/PAL (for EU), and IP (for worldwide). With this ROAMING MACHINE(TM) installed at home, consumers can stream and watch their home TV or recorded programs via PC or mobile phones anywhere the broadband internet is available. The Company is also pleased to announce the world's first LCD HDTV with a built-in, place-shifting capability, so called RoamingTV(TM).
