ACNielsen Names Chadbourne President, ACNielsen Europe.


STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 1999--

: ART) today named Brian D. Chadbourne president of ACNielsen Europe. He will be based at the company's Waterloo, Belgium Waterloo is a Walloon municipality located in the province of Walloon Brabant, Belgium. On January 1, 2006 Waterloo had a total population of 29,315. The total area is 21.03 km² which gives a population density of 1,394 inhabitants per km².  European headquarters.

Chadbourne will report to Robert J Lievense, ACNielsen's president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

. Chadbourne will also become a member of the company's Policy and Planning Committee planning committee n (in local government) → comité m de planificación , ACNielsen's executive leadership team responsible for developing and overseeing corporate direction and policy.

Chadbourne comes to ACNielsen with more than 25 years of consumer products experience in Europe and the United States. Throughout his career, he has held key change leadership positions at International Flavors and Fragrances International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) is a major producer of flavors and fragrances with sales of $1.99 billion in 2005. Major competitors include Firmenich, Givaudan, Quest International and Symrise. , Inc., where he was president of the fragrance division; at United Biscuits plc as president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Keebler, U.S.; at McVities Group as managing director, and at Rowntree Mackintosh Ltd. in both sales and marketing positions.

A United Kingdom citizen, Brian holds a BSc in Physics from Bristol University.
