ACME Business Consulting's Sara Fritsch Joins Leadership Portland's Class of 2008.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Following a competitive selection process that surveyed applicants' professional accomplishments, community commitment, references and civic involvement, ACME Business Consulting's Sara Fritsch has been selected to the Portland Business Alliance's Leadership Portland class of 2008. Sara is one of 36 chosen to participate in this year-long course that will start in mid-September and explore topics including business and economic development, state government and public policy, and building sustainable communities.

"Civic involvement has always been an important part of my life," said Fritsch, a senior project leader at ACME Business Consulting. "Being a relative newcomer to Oregon, it's an honor to have been accepted to this program, allowing a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Portland such a vibrant city. I am excited about what I hope is just the beginning of a long relationship with the Portland community."

Fritsch brings an impressive professional resume to Leadership Portland, having tackled complex business problems for some of the world's largest companies, including Bank of America and Fidelity Investments. As notable is her decade-long community service record, which includes work for The Junior League, Friends of Trees, Special Olympics, the American Cancer Society and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, among others.

The Alliance created Leadership Portland in 2003 to provide business leaders interested in community service with the skills and understanding necessary for future senior leadership positions within companies, civic betterment organizations and government in the Portland region.
