ACIST Medical expands headquarters, manufacturing plant.


ACIST Medical Systems Inc. has expanded its new headquarters.

The manufacturer of contrast media injection systems recently opened its new expanded corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Eden Prairie Eden Prairie

A city of eastern Minnesota, a residential suburb of Minneapolis. Population: 57,300.
, MN. Company executives said the new facility was designed to create an improved environment for employees.

"Our new corporate facility was designed to create an overall positive environment for our employees; one that promotes teamwork, creativity and fosters innovation," said Fulvio Renoldi Bracco, ACIST chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Last fall, the company opened its new, 50,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility, which included a dean layout to accommodate future growth, a larger manufacturing area, and expanded product development capabilities. During a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Terry Bunge, ACIST president, said the new facility signified sig·ni·fied

In April, ACIST acquired E-Z-EM's contrast delivery, contrast data management and point-of-care testing point-of-care testing Lab medicine The analysis of clinical specimens as close as possible to the Pt, including bedside, ward–unit, or 'stat' regional response labs that service specified areas–eg, the ER or ICU  businesses. Bracco said the acquisition would enable ACIST to "offer customers a more comprehensive and integrated range of products and services that can potentially deliver a total patient management solution."
