preparing for potential growth as Athens shapes up for the 2004

ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq:TSAI), an international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced that it has extended its regional presence into Greece with a new subsidiary in Athens. A launch party for customers and partners interested in cooperating with ACI's Greek subsidiary is taking place today. The subsidiary supports ACI's growing business in EMEA and its dedication to providing local support to customers.

Greece is an important region for ACI both in terms of regional customers and potential business growth. ACI is already in discussions with the majority of the top tier banks in Greece including National Bank of Greece, EFG Eurobank Ergasias and Commercial Bank of Greece (CBG - Emporiki). In direct response to the needs of these banks, ACI has set up the Greek subsidiary in Athens to provide improved customer service together with local support, knowledge and expertise.

A further investment in technology and banking services is expected in this region in anticipation of the Olympic Games in August 2004. This creates opportunity for ACI's enterprise solutions, which are robust, scalable and flexible enough to handle peaks of transactional activity.

The ACI subsidiary in Athens will provide maintenance support for local customers and undertake specific product development for the region. The subsidiary is supported by a 24-hour response team based at ACI's EMEA headquarters near London, dedicated to providing support to customers across Europe.
