ACH Direct VP Named to NACHA's Marketing Management Group.


CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. -- Jeff Thorness, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of ACH Direct, a leading provider of cash management services, announced the appointment of Deborah Matthews, AAP AAP - Association of American Publishers  to NACHA's Marketing Management Group.

 Board of Directors approved the formation of an industry representative group with the authority to develop a long-term strategy and tactical annual marketing plans to promote electronic payments and build market awareness. The Marketing Management Group's mission is to increase market acceptance and understanding of Automated Clearing House See ACH.  (ACH) applications. The strategies for accomplishing these goals include national advertising, public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most , education, research and general communication. The Group is comprised of prominent industry professionals representing financial institutions, the Regional Payments Associations, the corporate community and the two ACH Operators, the Federal Reserve Bank and the Electronic Payments Network.

As Vice President of Marketing at ACH Direct, Matthews participates in numerous industry activities, including NACHA's Electronic Check Council. She currently serves as the Marketing and Education Coordinator of the Steering Committee of the Internet Council, and has been a member of the American Payroll Association's ACH Advisory Committee for the past five years. Matthews earned the Accredited accredited
