Companies are finding it extremely difficult to secure financing through traditional channels including replacing existing financing because of a pending maturity or a convent convent: see monasticism.  and/or payment default, securing new capital for growth acquisitions, providing liquidity to shareholders, or simply deleveraging the balance sheet.
