ACE USA Launches Custom Casualty Energy Products to Respond to Unique Needs of Energy-Related Risks.


PHILADELPHIA -- ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced that it has created a new underwriting Underwriting

1. The process by which investment bankers raise investment capital from investors on behalf of corporations and governments that are issuing securities (both equity and debt).

2. The process of issuing insurance policies.
 unit dedicated to providing casualty program solutions to risks in the energy industry. The ACE USA Custom Casualty Energy unit, part of ACE Casualty Risk, will provide a flexible array of products including primary general liability, primary commercial automobile, lead umbrella and pollution liability programs for a cross section of energy-related risks.

The ACE USA Custom Casualty Energy unit will target the following classes of business: oil and gas lease operators, non-operating working interests, well-servicing contractors, drilling contractors, pipeline gathering systems, and utilities and power generation, independent power producers, alternative energy producers, cogeneration cogeneration
