ACE USA Appoints Geoffrey M. Hall as Senior Vice President, Construction.

PHILADELPHIA -- ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Geoffrey M. Hall as Senior Vice President, Construction.

Based in New York City, Mr. Hall will be responsible for managing the underwriting strategies as part of ACE USA's Construction Industry Practice. He will report to David Brosnan, President, ACE Casualty Risk. Staffed by a team of experienced construction professionals dedicated to addressing the unique insurance needs of builders and contractors, the ACE USA Construction Industry Practice writes all classes of construction business, including large general contractors, specialty contractors, wrap-ups and other project specific risks.

Mr. Hall has more than 19 years of diverse experience in the insurance arena. He most recently served as Vice President for American International Group's (AIG) Construction Division, where he was responsible for directing the marketing and underwriting activities for the Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles Regions. He previously held a variety of underwriting positions at AIG, focusing on construction wrap-ups and healthcare casualty coverage. Mr. Hall earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hobart College, in Geneva, N.Y.
