ACE Appoints Patricia Henry Deputy General Counsel for Government and Industry Affairs.

 -- The ACE Group of Companies announced today that Patricia Henry was appointed to the position of Deputy General Counsel for Government and Industry Affairs, ACE Group Holdings, Inc.

In this new position, Ms. Henry will be responsible for supervising ACE's relations with governmental and industry organizations throughout the world. She will report to ACE Limited General Counsel Robert Cusumano and will work directly with senior management and ACE's President and Chief Executive Officer, Evan Greenberg.

Ms. Henry's responsibilities will include managing ACE's memberships in various industry organizations such as the American Insurance Association, the Reinsurance The contract made between an insurance company and a third party to protect the insurance company from losses. The contract provides for the third party to pay for the loss sustained by the insurance company when the company makes a payment on the original contract.  Association of America, and the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers. Ms. Henry will supervise ACE's government affairs professionals and, with Matt Niemeyer, ACE's Senior Vice President for Government Affairs, she will continue her work on various legislative initiatives pending before Congress and a number of state legislatures.

Ms. Henry has worked as an attorney at ACE since 1992, and most recently has held the positions of General Counsel for ACE's operations in North America and Director of Litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right.
