Cellular Manager[TM] and its Parent Patrol component allow parents to manage children's mobile use by numbers called, time of day, minutes used, and services accessed. Aliant concluded a successful trial in late 2006, and has now deployed the service throughout its market. According to the carrier, the service is being viewed as a strong differentiator in the market. Customers are seeing it as a tool that allows them to stay connected with their children as they become more mobile, while maintaining control of their child's wireless usage and spending.

These restrictions can be applied once or dynamically changed over an easy-to-use Web interface.
