ACCU CHEM CONVERSION Signs Contract With Southwestern Oil.

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 1999--ACCU CHEM CONVERSION INC. has signed a contract with Southwestern Oil Chemical Co. of Chattanooga, Tenn., to transload and carry Hexane to Southwestern's customers throughout California, it was announced Wednesday.

The contract, a two-year agreement, is expected to result in between 50 and 75 9,000-gallon loads of Hexane transported from ACCU CHEM's facility in Calipatria, Calif., annually. The loads will be carried in a special truck trailer designed for the transportation of flammable liquids, recently purchased for this purpose by ACCU CHEM.

Hexane, a petroleum product, is used as fuel and in secondary industrial processes.

ACCU CHEM CONVERSION was founded in 1994 and is engaged in three business areas. It performs quality analysis and finalizes inspections on requested flight-sensitive materials for BNA, leases and operates 60 rail unloading spots for hazardous materials at two rail unloading facilities in City of Industry and Calipatria, and provides rail and truck transport of in-bond shipments from Calexico, Calif., to Menlo Park, Calif.

ACCU CHEM is an approved for-hire carrier in California, Nevada and Arizona. The company recently announced that it has entered into negotiations with Quadratech Inc. (OTC:QUDT) concerning a business combination.

Quadratech, incorporated in 1984, is the manufacturer of patented oil-absorbent materials.
