ACCPAC INTERNATIONAL, INC., a subsidiary of Computer Associates International Inc. (NYSE:CA), today announced partnerships with Ironside Technologies Inc., which provides business-to-business Web commerce solutions and INEX Corporation, which provides business-to-consumer Internet storefront solutions.

The resulting products will be offered as part of the e.Advantage Suite(TM), ACCPAC's comprehensive line of e-business products that include e-commerce, electronic workflow, electronic data interchange, Web self-service applications for customers, suppliers and employees and Web based reporting.

In addition, ACCPAC is now shipping two new applets for the e.Advantage Suite. The new order status applet allows customers to use the Internet to find out when orders will be filled and other key information. The new purchase order applet lets remote employees enter purchase orders directly into ACCPAC for Windows via the Internet. Four other applets, which shipped in May, enable companies to give their customers and employees the ability to conduct business online through use of the accounting system.

Business-to-Business Internet Commerce

The partnership between ACCPAC and Ironside (www.ironside.com) adds business-to-business Internet commerce to the ACCPAC for Windows accounting software. Companies such as manufacturers and distributors use Ironside products to provide their customers with a Web commerce site where they can enter orders, check order status, request a quote, lookup and view products using advanced search capabilities, and select product specifications. The partnership with ACCPAC enables companies to integrate their business-to-business Web commerce sites directly with the ACCPAC for Windows accounting system.

Business-to-Consumer Internet Commerce

The partnership with INEX (www.inex.com) adds business-to-consumer Internet commerce capabilities to ACCPAC for Windows. It provides companies with the tools to quickly set up and manage their own Web storefronts that integrate directly with the ACCPAC for Windows accounting and business management system.

ACCPAC has formed additional partnerships to add e-business capabilities to ACCPAC for Windows. The company is adding electronic workflow through JetForm (www.jetform.com) and electronic data interchange through The EC Company (www.eccompany.com). Products resulting from the JetForm and EC Company partnerships are expected in the fourth quarter of calendar year 1998.
