(NYSE:CA), today announced it is shipping ACCPAC for Windows Plus Series, a new product family designed to address the accounting needs of small- to medium-size businesses that require more than an entry-level program and to provide an option for DOS users seeking an affordable Windows accounting solution.

The design of ACCPAC for Windows Plus Series is based on ACCPAC for Windows, the company's flagship multi-tier accounting product and provides more features than ACCPAC's DOS-based accounting software product, ACCPAC Plus Accounting. ACCPAC for Windows Plus Series is a powerful modular accounting solution for small to medium sized businesses and supports up to fine concurrent user in Windows NT, Netware, or Peer-to-Peer environments. The product is aggressively priced at $800/module. Existing ACCPAC Plus DOS users can upgrade for $400/module.

ACCPAC for Windows Plus Series' modules include: System Manager, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry and Inventory Control. The product also integrates with ACCPAC for Windows' modules, including Payroll, Purchase Orders, and BrioQuery Analysis and Reporting.
