By adopting the notice and access rule, as an alternative to the traditional approach of delivering a printed set of proxy materials to each stockholder, companies may now deliver a "Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials" to stockholders, provide Internet access to the proxy materials, and provide free of charge a printed set of proxy materials by mail to any stockholder who requests them. By following the new Notice and Access rule, ACCO Brands expects to reduce the number of printed copies of its proxy materials this year by more than 70 percent, both lowering the cost and reducing the environmental impact of producing and delivering these materials. ACCO Brands' 2007 annual report on Form 10-K and 2008 proxy statement have been filed with the SEC and can be found on the Investor Relations section of www.accobrands.com.
