The third WMS Mortal Kombat video arcade game incorporates more characters, more moves, increased memory, new 3-D backgrounds, and other features which have made Mortal Kombat the best selling video arcade game. WMS retains all other worldwide publishing rights to Mortal Kombat 3.

Complementing the Mortal Kombat 3 marketing effort, New Line Cinema Corporation will release "Mortal Kombat: The Movie" next month, as well as a special animated home video this month, "Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins," in which Acclaim's motion capture technology was used to create some of the special effects. Additionally, "Mortal Kombat: The Live Tour" is scheduled to launch this September.
