Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is an action-packed dinosaur hunt, with an immersive first-person perspective. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Storyline

Developed by Acclaim's Austin, Texas-based Iguana Entertainment Iguana Entertainment was a video game developer operating from 1991 to 2004 in Santa Clara, California, Sunnyvale, California, Austin, Texas and Teesside, England. They were best known for developing the , NBA Jam, NFL Quarterback Club, and South Park video games.  and based on the Acclaim Comics/Valiant Heroes(TM) title, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter puts players in the role of the native American Turok. For generations, the eldest-born male of the Fireseed family has served as Turok to protect humanity against the threats from the residents of the Lost Land. An interdimensional "sewer of the universe," the Lost Land is a place out of time where past, present and future collide: where alien races struggle for dominance alongside rampaging "Bionosaurs," highly intelligent bionic A machine that is patterned after principles found in humans or nature; for example, robots. It also refers to artificial devices implanted into humans replacing or extending normal human functions. In the game, Turok learns that his arch-nemesis, the Campaigner, is plotting to conquer the Earth with an army of Bionosaurs from the Lost Land. The key to winning the battle is the mystical Chronoscepter, with power that bridges the gap between Earth and the Lost Land. It is up to Turok to discover all the pieces of the Chronoscepter and defeat the Campaigner and his hoard of evil minions.
